RIWAMA Issues 24-Hour Deadline To Defaulting Service Providers Or Have Their Contracts Terminated

The Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro. Felix Obuah has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to Service Providers who are yet to rid their operational zones of dirt should do so, or have their contracts terminated.

Bro. Obuah, who issued the 24-hour ultimatum during his early morning monitoring of Roads in Port Harcourt and its environs on Monday, November 12, 2018, said the deadline given to the contractors was necessitated by heaps of refuse currently dotting the affected zones.

He said the Agency can no longer condone laxity of Service Providers who would not take their jobs seriously.

The Sole Administrator regretted that these unwelcome actions of non-performing Service Providers amount to sabotage to the efforts of Governor Nyesom Wike who is doing everything possible to ensure a cleaner Rivers State.

Bro. Obuah also warned all Service Providers doing business with the Agency to be alive to their responsibilities, adding that RIWAMA would not relent in its resolve to sustain the Garden City status of the State.

List of defaulting Service Providers given the 24-hour ultimatum includes the following:
