Amayanabo Of Kirike Kingdom Presents Certificates Of Recognition To Chiefs – Elect, Full Chiefs
Chiefs-elect and full Chiefs in Kirike Kingdom were over the weekend issued certificates of recognition by the Amayanabo of Kirike Kingdom, King (Air Commodore) Tamuno-Omisiki Ogube with a charge to help foster development in the area.
The epoch-making event which took place at Kirike Divisional Council of Chiefs hall in Okrika had in attendance dignitaries from within and outside the State.
Presenting the certificates to the Chiefs-elect and full chiefs, King Tamuno-Omisike Ogube, Ogube I, and Perekune Kingoli I stated that though the kingdom has recorded numerous of achievements, there was still the need to gear up efforts to actualize the core objectives of sustaining the development of the Kingdom, eradicate poverty and transform the Kingdom.
Narrating the achievements so far recorded in the Kingdom under his watch, the Royal Father noted that top in the list were peace, unity and consolidation of the culture and traditions of the people.
He noted that Kirike Kingdom has become more respectable to her neighbors, stronger among other gallant Kingdoms represents the face of Wakirike ethnic nationality.
The Monarch praised the chiefs for their tireless contributions to reposition Kirike Kingdom, stressing that the Chiefs have written their names in the annals of the history of Kirike Kingdom.
Earlier, the Chairman of Kirike Divisional Council of Chiefs, Chief (Dr) Bernard Aprioku- Okome stated that the certification of full Chiefs and Chiefs Elect was a signal of a new dawn and a vision that will positively reform the traditional institution in the Kingdom as the certification will spur the chiefs to also attain greater heights.
Chief Bernard Aprioku- Okome reiterated that in keeping with the philosophy of development which is people based, Kirike Divisional Council of Chiefs has scored another milestone in the determination for cultural rebirth, traditional ethos and socio-ethical renaissance.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of certificates to full Chiefs and chiefs-elect by the Amayanabo of Kirike Kingdom.
