Banigo To Christians: Put God First At All Times

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has urged Christians to ensure that they do not miss heaven no matter what it takes.

 Dr. Banigo gave this advice during a Thanksgiving Service to round off the 2020 Annual Diocesan Adult Sunday School Conference at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Church, Port Harcourt Sunday 13th September, 2020.

 The Deputy Governor who said these are difficult times noted that times are changing rapidly all over the world and Christians must be on their guard at all times.

 “The time to watch and pray is now more than ever before. I pray that the Lord will find us faithful when he comes, He will find us rapturable, we shall not miss heaven whatever we do the most important thing in life is not to miss heaven, and when He comes, He will call us thou good and faithful servants come into my rest. Come and enjoy the joy of your master”. Dr. Banigo further stressed.

 According to Dr. Banigo, thanksgiving is something that ensures our prayers are answered, adding that out of the ten leapers that were healed by Our Lord Jesus Christ only one came back to say thank you and he was made completely whole.

 Speaking  on the theme: “For My Name’s Sake”, drawn from Isaiah 48:9. The Bishop of Calabar Diocese and Archbishop, Niger Delta Province, Most Rev. Tunde Adeleye, advised Christians not only to declare the name of the Lord at all times but also trust in His saving Grace.

 He said it behoves on Christians to make evangelism a top priority in their daily routine, stressing that we must make our ways right with God in order to have the boldness to preach to others.

 Also speaking, Bishop, Diocese of Niger Delta, Rt. Rev. Ralph Ebirien, expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for the success of the 2020 Annual Diocesan Adult Sunday School Conference and the Rivers State Government for their support.
