PHCCIMA President Assures Transparent Administration

The new President of Port – Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Chief Nabil Saleh, has promised to run a transparent administration that would boost the economy of Rivers State.

He made the promise during the 61st inauguration dinner night organized for him and the elected Council members of the Chamber.

He also promised to focus on the visions of PHCCIMA to foster economic growth in the State while ensuring a robust relationship between PHCCIMA, Rivers, Federal Governments, other international bodies and the media.

Chief Nabil Saleh, while chronicling his ten top agenda, said that his administration, will among other things, establish an e-chamber with fast and reliable internet to help in dissipation of information to members and relevant bodies.

He further assured that he would promote the interest of members of the Chamber, who fall into the category of small and medium entrepreneurs, adding that a plan to ensure that workshops and seminars are organized at least on a quarterly basis is put in place.

Congratulating the new President and the elected Council members, the Rivers State Governor, Barr. Nyesom Wike,  disclosed the efforts of his administration in providing enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the State.

Represented by his deputy, Dr Ipalibo Harry Banigo, he reiterated his administration’s resolve to close up double taxation and make life better for those who live and do business in the State.
