Traditional Chiefs Pledge To Uphold Values, Respect For Stool

The chiefs and elders of Ele kingdom, Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area have reiterated their unalloyed support and respect for their traditional ruler, and Amanyanabo of Ele kingdom, King Felix Tamunoseipiriala Okuru, Apina VII.

The chiefs made the promise during a banquet organized for them by the royal father to mark the successful end of last year.

The royal father while exchanging banters with his chiefs and elders in appreciation to God for the prevailing peace and love among the people said the essence of the event was to promote unity and co-operation among the people and assured that the get-together will be an annual event.

The Amanyanabo of Ele kingdom, His Royal Highness, King Felix Tamunoseipiriala Okuru, Apina VII assured that with God on his side, his reign would always put smiles on the faces of the people and will operate an open door policy where all sons and daughters of Ele kingdom would be allowed unhindered access to his administration, and wished them a prosperous new year.

In his remarks, the spokesman of Ele kingdom, Chief Golden Amatarime Ele-Amakiri also stressed the need for peaceful co-existence and unity in agreement with the king and encouraged all to work with the traditional ruler as good things are coming to Ele kingdom.

King Felix Tamunoseipiriala Okuru, Apina VII also used the occasion to mark his birthday with dignitaries from all walks of life in attendance including the Amanyanabo of Kala-Ogoloma, His Royal Highness, King Godknows Idaminabo Igbiki Olunwa.
