Academic activities at the Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic may have been slowed down following the demise of the Public Relations Officer, PRO, of the institution.
According to our source, the PRO, Mrs. Margaret Onyeso’s death occurred at a London hospital, following an undisclosed illness. She was described as a gentle and easy going woman.
Some students and staff of the polytechnic had gathered in clusters to discuss the demise of the PRO. Further indications revealed low level of activities as at the time of visiting the polytechnic. A staff of the polytechnic declined comment when contacted over the sad incident.
Meanwhile, the management of the polytechnic was yet to make official statement over the loss (as at the time of filing this report).
