Achieving Peaceful Electoral Process Depends On Nigerians – Apst. Ogu
Ahead of February 16th and March 2nd Polls, the General Overseer of Abundant Life Evangel Mission (ALEM), Apostle Eugene Egwuatu Ogu said that achieving a violent free process depends on Nigerians and not on International Communities.
He dropped the hint while reacting to the ability of the International Communities to ensure a peaceful, free and fair elections in Nigeria.
The man of God posited that achieving a peaceful electoral process wholely depends on Nigerians as nobody can love Nigeria more than Nigerians.
He queried the love and care the International Communities claimed to have for Nigeria when they had failed to return to her all the looted monies in their treasuries and described them as “Nigeria’s number one enemy”.
Calling for credible elections, he urged Nigerians especially Rivers people and residents to shun all forms of electoral violence and undue influence around polling units.
According to him, thuggery and electoral malpractices will only cause more harm than good, pointing out that whosoever God preferred to be in possession of power will emerge.
The president of Arm of Hope International, warned against vote buying and selling, described such as a criminal act and advised Nigerians to perform their civic responsibilities with wisdom by using their PVCs to vote candidates of their choices.
