‘Tripple  A’ To Partner RSG On Solar Energy, Others

An investment opportunity that will help promote youth empowerment, gainful employment and provide requisite training in Rivers State is in the offing ,following  a  move by the ‘Tripple A’,  to bring about inclusion solar energy altarnative, as well as ensure establishment of its assembly plant for solar panel and accessories.

Earlier, while addressing the investors, former Commissioner of Empowerment and employment generation, Dr. La Loonu Nwibubasa described Rivers State as a good place for investment. He stressed the fact that beyond the oil and gas activities, the state prides itself as investors’ haven where agriculture, tourism could thrive, in addition to the good water bodies to support its ambience.

Dr. Nwabubasa noted that the past hostilities in the state had given way to peaceful environment for good investment. He expressed appreciation to the team for considering Rivers State as appropriate destination for solar energy investment.

Leader of the investment team comprising Koreans and an American, Dr. Mrs. Joy Davies, and  Director of ‘Tripple A’ (facilitator) said the company which incorporated both in Nigeria  and Merryland, USA  was in Rivers State to source investment opportunity and partnership  with the Rivers State government. She said the move will help  boost power production  with solar energy as an alternative power source.

According to her, with the establishment of solar assembly plant, the partnership will be a good opportunity among Korea, America and Nigeria and River State in particular. She noted that lack of power can be dreadful and assured that solar power will  result in job creation and add more value to agriculture and other sectors.

On her own part, one of the partners, the CEO  of Fineco Energy, manufacturers of the solar energy equipments from South Korea. Tae Yoon Kim, spoke about the quality and sophistication of the company’s energy products. She stressed that the energy products  by her company would ensure an efficient solar power for divers consumers.

Also speaking, during a product demonstration session, Mr. Charles Kung, a Korean enumerated the merits of clean solar energy as an alternative power generation method. He informed that with battery and solar inverter consumers can  power different things for households, schools ,offices and many other places. He described solar energy as a pure energy sourced from the sun, adding that Nigeria and indeed the rest of Africa can develop more through its application.
