Cleric Tasks Gospel Artistes On Holiness

Affirming that the only food God eats is praise and worship, Bishop Elkana Hanson has asked gospel artists to ensure that they do not go through the rythm of Pentecostalism without Christ.

He gave the charge during the recent unveiling of forty gospel artists in Port Harcourt.

He described gospel artists as those who go to the kitchen to prepare God’s food and maintained that they should not be doing the things of the kingdom of God when they are agents of Satan.

According to the presiding Bishop of Elshadai Ministries, a gospel artist should be a real born again who must separate himself from all forms of sins and demonic activities.

He advised them to seek God until he gives them the anointing adding that anointing is not gotten on the stage but on the alter and with encounter with God.

Earlier in his opening remarks, the co-ordinator of Jesus Christ (JC) Records, Mr Emma Steve disclosed that  the organization is working to achieve a society where music will positively influence everybody.

He said JC Records has the vision to discover, develop,produce, promote, market and create platform for gospel singers all over the world adding that the forty artists to be unveiled  are from different walks of life and ethnic groups.

He called on everybody to join them in creating a healthy society that is drug free.

The highpoint of the occasion was the performance of the artists, who among them are Prudence Salvation, Chioma Salvation and Wisdom Nwachukwu.

Wisdom Nwachukwu whose musical name is Voice Of Wisdom (VOW) is the last daughter of Mr Ignatius Chuku, the bureau Chief of Business Day Newspaper.
