Worried by the increasing number of displaced Nigerians, the Federal Government has been blamed for insincerity in the way and manner it has been handling the issue of the activities of herds men attacks on communities.
The General Overseer of Aboundant Life Evangel Mission (ALEM), Apostle Eugene Ogu made the condemnation while reacting to the menace perpetrated by herds men in Nigeria.
He noted that the activities of Herdsmen in the country is responsible for the poverty and hunger witnessed in the country and wondered why a government whose responsibility it is to protect the citizens will claim ignorant of perpetrators who enter into communities, kill or chase people away and reoccupy their communities.
Describing it as a threat hovering over the nation, Apostle Eugene Ogu queried why Federal Government has refused to fund other professions and businesses, provide scholarships for students, establish schools, provide shops for traders yet funds herds men to form colonies.
He also expressed worry that Government is not even taking adequate care of those displaced by these herds men regretting that the herds men have succeeded in making the world think that every body in Nigeria is a cattle rearer.
