Traffic Chief Hails Gov Wike Over Massive Road Construction In Rivers
The Rivers State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. David Mendie, has commended Governor Nyesom Wike for providing decent road network in the state.
Mendie who spoke with journalists on Monday in Port Harcourt said that the governor’s gesture had created adequate safety on the roads.
The Rivers FRSC boss noted that the good roads provided by the governor had helped in reducing road traffic crashes on the roads.
He said “We have been commending his Excellency for helping to reduce road traffic crashes through his provision of good roads in Rivers State”.
The traffic chief stated that good roads were also responsible for longer live spam of vehicles and urged motorists to avail themselves of the kind gesture of the governor by driving responsibly to avert road traffic accidents on the roads.
Mendie appealed to motorists to always obey traffic rules and regulations to ensure sanity on the roads.
He advised motorists to complement the effort of the governor in reducing road traffic crashes by driving with the required speed limit at all times.
