The five(5) bloc of denominational families that make up the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rivers State chapter have congratulated their State Chairman, Most Special Apostle Stanley Dimkpa over the meritorious award bestowed on him by the National Network Newspaper as the Charismatic Leader Award winner.
According to a statement signed by the CAN State Secretary, Archibshop Emmanuel Ogu and Director, Legal & Publicity, Rev’d Fr. Michael Akere and made available to the press, they said the families are happy for the award because it is indeed a valid testimony that the chairman’s effort in repositioning the Christian body for it to attain enviable height is observed by the public in general and the media in particular.
CAN used the opportunity to appreciate the National Network Newspaper for the honour bestowed on their State Chairman, praying to God to continue sustaining the organization.
“We also congratulate you Sir, for the reaffirmation of your position as the leader of CAN in Rivers State by the National Executive Committee (NEC) recently which coincided with the award in recognition of your leadership quality”, they stated.
The CAN families further commended Dr. Dimkpa for his peaceful disposition and concerted effort which they noted earned him the award and is gradually bringing all the churches under the chairman’s canopy and as well creating conducive environment for everyone to contribute his/her own quota for them to collectively achieve set goal.
“We particularly salute your administrative, managerial and intellectual ability and urge you not to rest on your oars but continue to remain focused for you and the executive to do more for humanity and God. And we assure you Sir, of our inflinching support at all times”, they declared.
