Cleric Urges Christians to Seek God Always, Not Miracles

Christian faithful have been urged to avail themselves opportunities to give attention to the word of God in order to know him better and overcome fake miracle workers who are only out to feed on people’s ignorance.

This was part of the charge handed down the congregation during thACe second series of the monthly deliverance programme tagged Limit Breaker which took place at the auditorium, Rhema Chapel International Churches Rumuola, Port Harcourt.

During his brief sermon at the beginning of the programme, the Minister-in –Charge of the church, Pastor Abiola Ajadi expressed deep concern over the way and manner people flock miracle centers without seeking the knowledge of God by themselves.  He noted that children of God are known by the Word of God they know, but he reasoned that many have turned certain men of God to prayer contractors, who were only after people’s money, only to feed on their ignorance.

He used the occasion to inform that the monthly programme, Limit Breaker was ordained by God based on his area of calling as an evangelist, to minister to people who may be challenged in different areas of life. According to him, God had used the special programme to address issues in the lives of many with testimonies as a prove of.

He called on Christians to shun spiritual laziness but make the study of the Word of God a lifestyle. He said many who called themselves Christians do  not ask God for change in their lives in the place of prayer and that made it impossible for them to enjoy divine encounters.

The programme which drew crowds from among the congregation and invitees turned into a prayer storm, with many receiving prophetic declarations over their lives.
