Our Ears Are Open To Customers’  Complaints – PHED

The Chief Executive Officer of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, Naveen Kapor has charged their esteem customers to take advantage of the various channels put in place to register their challenges for the company to serve them better.

The CEO gave the charge during a Town Hall meeting in Port Harcourt, organized by PHED with the aim of enlighting the public about the ongoing Meter Asset Provider (MAP), to interact with their customers on all electricity related issues as well as to inform them on the areas where PHED has improved in order to give them quality delivery. 

He urged the consumers to make use of the social media channel, customer care to lodge their complain. Adding that by next year PHED will provide an incident management system where they will have all the complain log in so as to proffer solutions to customers problems.

Speaking on the Meter Asset Provider (MAP) Mr. Kapor advised customers to key into MAP scheme so as to say goodbye to estimated bill which he says has been a contentious issue between them and their esteemed customers.

However, they educated the customers on the importance of MAP how customers can control their consumption. And urged the customers to not think that using metre will make them to pay more saying metre is geared towards giving them quality service.

The CEO also admonished electricity consumers to ensure the security and safety of all installation that has to do with electricity supply in their areas saying that Port-Harcourt is supposed to have 24hours power supply but hindered by network issue and the attitude of theft been experienced  within Port Harcourt and its environs.

He pleaded with the customers to do away with the attitude of theft, the vandalism of supply system to electricity networks and to pay up their electricity bills in order to enjoy hitch free electricity supply across the state.
