Ele Monarch Harps On Peaceful Disposition, Unity In Ele Kingdom

The people of Ele Kingdom, Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State have been told to remain focused, uphold their peaceful disposition and unite in order to attract more development and progress.

The Amanyanabo of the ancient Ele Kingdom, King Felix Tamunoseiperiala Okuru gave the advice during the annual Christmas feast celebration organized for the chiefs, elders and stakeholders of the kingdom held at the Ele Community Town Hall, Monday.

King Felix Tamunoseipiriala Okuru, Apina VII said it has become an annual event that during the festive period, the people come together to thank God for all He has done for them during the period, pointing out that there will be no life without peace.

The crowned Ele Monarch expressed delight for the peace in the kingdom which has enabled them to celebrate the annual feast that was attended by all sons and daughters of Ele Kingdom and charged all to maintain their peaceful disposition for more projects that will make the people happy and glorify God, stressing that the year 2020 will be a greater and better year.

King Apina VII disclosed that in order to achieve their goal of living in peace, unity and progress, a three day fasting and prayer programme has been scheduled to hold from January 13th and 14th , 2020.

He felicitated with the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, the people of Wakirike ethnic nationality and the entire people of Ele Kingdom in particular as they celebrate a Prosperous New Year 2020.
