…Accommodates More Candidates For  Free UTME  Registration

In furtherance to Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike’s promise to bankroll the payment of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) fees for eligible Rivers State students in Ss3, a fresh window has been opened to accommodate more candidates for the 2020 UTME fully funded by the government.

A statement signed by the Honorable Commissioner for Education, Professor Kaniye Ebeku urged principals of public and private schools who are yet to register all eligible students of Rivers State origin, to do so on the platform of Rivers Education Management Information System, RIVEMIS on www.rivemis.riversstate.gov.ng before the close of work on Monday, 27th January, 2020.

It added that those who could not meet up the government previous deadline can as well apply with means of identification.

It also urged candidates of Rivers State origin who are out of school and desirous of writing the examination to avail themselves of the opportunity by uploading their details still at the RIVEMIS platform.

In lieu of the above, the statement continued, candidates are expected to send scanned copies of their voters card as means of identification to Faustinanwanekwu@yahoo.com and  Agwentus @gmail.com or visit room 755, Commissioner Wing, 7th Floor, Podium Block for physical verification.
