Ogu/Bolo Council Chiefs Elect New Exco
The Ogu/Bolo Local Government Council of Chiefs has elected a new executive committee to pilot its affairs with Alabo Rev. Francis Ada Ebenezer-Onye as Chairman.
Others are Chief H.I. Ominaokuma-kile as Vice Chairman, Chief Faith Amaso as Secretary, Chief James Victor Nangibo-Assistant Secretary, Chief Dandeson T. Dennis Irumaibike-Treasurer and Chief Joseph Oloye Buloabere as Financial Secretary.
Also in the new cabinet are Chief Bapakaye S. Obaka-Dabipi-Public Relations Officer (PRO), Chief Igbiks Daerrick Anga Kalaiyo-Welfare Officer, Chief Marcus Wariboko Opueji as Legal Adviser while Chief Justice Kenka S. Kienka Ofiomani is the Provost.
In his post election speech, the Chairman, Alabo Rev. Francis Ada Ebenezer- Onye thanked the members for the confidence reposed in them and pledged to serve the council deligently, and be accountable in all their dealings to the members and the entire Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area and do right to all members without fear or favour.
Alabo Ebenezer-Onye promised to return the council to its original position so that members would command respect both in and outside the council.
He opined that as the council has come this far, members should live according to the tenants of their constitution and advised them to strive to maintain peace and unity in their domain.
The new chairman also assured that his administration would work hands in glove with the Traditional Rulers of the Local Government Area and other constituted authorities, take the Local Government Area to a greater heights with God on their side, and further pledged to serve the council diligently.
The newly elected executive of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Council of Chiefs will run the affairs of the Council for the next two years.
