A veteran journalist in Rivers State, and publisher of The Reformer Newspaper, Nna Frank-Jack has lost his elder and only sister, Mrs. Comfort Adaunwo Sunday Odoyi (Nee Frank-Jack).
According to a statement by Nna Frank-Jack, Mrs Adaunwo Sunday Odoyi died peacefully in her home, Ubarama Community in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State on Thursday, March 28, 2019. She was aged 70.
Nna Frank-Jack who is a former member of the State Executive Council (SEC) of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Rivers State Council called on journalists and friends to attend the funeral ceremony scheduled for Saturday, March, 14 in Ubarama Community.
Describing the death of his sister as sudden and shocking, the publisher of the Reformer Newspaper and former secretary of the Rivers State Publishers Association (RIVPA) rather went philosophical.
According to him, there is nothing as certain as death but in its certainty, death is the most uncertain since it maintains a very secret regime and visiting people when least expected.
The deceased, according to him, left legacies worthy of emulation, noting that it is necessary for all human beings to always prepare for the unexpected.
