The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Local Government Executives of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State, will hold simultaneously across the 23 Local Government Areas of the State and is scheduled as follows:
DATE: Wednesday, May 6, 2020.
TIME: 10 am.
VENUE: PDP Party secretariat in the 23 Local Government Headquarters of the State.
The swearing-in ceremony which will be done on low key, will be attended only by the newly elected officers of the Party, in the 23 Local Government Areas.
They are also advised to observe social distancing, washing of hands, use of medical face masks and alcohol-based sanitizers as well as all other directives by the state government in the fight against COVID-19, at the venue of the swearing-in ceremony.
The Leader of the Party in the State, Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus express their profound gratitude to all outgoing Local Government Executives of the party for their commitment and dedication throughout the period of their service to the Party and congratulate the newly elected LGA Executives of the PDP in Rivers State and wish them a successful tenure.
