As the Rivers State Police Command digs deep into the alleged rape of a 14- Year -Old boy by one Chidi Asuzu, an Adult male at Orowurokwo Community, Port Harcourt local Government Area last week, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in charge of State Criminal Investigation, (SCID) has interviewed the suspect and the 14 -Year Old, National Network can confirm.
The interview of both the suspect and the victim was done in the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police at SCID, Port Harcourt.
Our source disclosed that the suspect was transferred from Olu-Obansijo Police Station to SCID last Monday on the order of Rivers State Commissioner of Police,(CP) Joseph Mukan.
The mother of the 14- year- old boy who identified herself as Mrs Emmabong wept uncontrollably during an interview with our reporter.
She expressed sadness over the incident and called for Justice on the matter.
The Youth President of Oruworokwo Community, Gentle Wami, confirmed to our reporter in a Telephone interview that he apprehended the suspect last Tuesday while the suspect was allegedly having carnal knowledge of the 14-year- old boy in a dark corner within the community.
Mr Wami revealed that the suspect was handed over to the community Chief to look into matter.
Our correspondent reports that the suspect was later handed over to Olu-Obansijo Police Station.
The spokesperson of River State Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Nnamdi Omoni had earlier confirmed the transfer of the suspect to SCID
