The Rivers State Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information, the ICT Department of the Governor’s Office and Brain Friend Solutions, has announced the extension of its Stay Safe, Continue Learning Programme to JSS 1and 2 and SSS 1 and 2 with effect from Monday 1st June 2020.
This ministry stated that the digital/e-learning Programme will be aired on Ray Power Radio and AIT Television, with the kind support of the Management of DAAR Communications PLC.
According to a statement from the Rivers State Commissioner for Education, Professor Kaniye Ebeku, the digital and e-learning programme will feature on Ray Power (Radio) and AIT (Television), in collaboration with the management of the DAAR Communications PLC.
The statement informed that already the programme for the JSS 3 and SSS 3 had been on air since April on RSTV, Garden City FM and Radio Rivers FM, promising that this will continue as usual.
The commissioner enjoined parents and guardians to take advantage of the new windows of learing at home, just as they continued to stay safe of COVID-19.
The statement added that the time table for the programmes earmarked remain as announced.
