Eze Wodo Deserves ‘The Appointment’ – Chief Mgbakiri

The Head Chief of Owhu Community of Elikpokw-odu Clan in Rukpokwu, Chief Owhonda Mgbakiri, has hailed the appointment of His Royal Majesty, Eze Chike Amadi Worlu Wodo as Chairman of Obio/Akpor Council of Traditional Rulers as well deserved.

Chief Mgbakiri hailed the appointment in a chat with  newsmen in Port Harcourt.

He said Eze Worlu Wodo who is the Eze Oha Apara IV has administered Apara Kingdom in a humane and godly manner, stressing that he would replicate his administrative ingenuity in Obio/Akpor.

Chief Mgbakiri who is the Eze Epera Owhu IV said His Majesty, Eze Worlu Wodo would use his new position to unite Obio/Akpor traditional rulers and chiefs, paving way for peace and unity in the entire local government area.

“Obio/Akpor has been yearning for a well groomed traditional leader like His Majesty, Eze Wodo. God has answered our prayer by giving us Eze Wodo as the chairman of Obio/Akpor Council of Traditional Rulers.

“His Majesty would work for peace and unity of Obio/Akpor people. There will be progress and development during his tenure. We all need to support his mission for Obio/Akpor people,” Chief Mgbakiri said.

The Eze Epara Owhu said he has always admired the humility of Eze Worlu Wodo, stressing that he carries every traditional ruler, chief, elder, Owhor holder, woman and youth of Apara Kingdom in his administration. Based on his inclusive system of administration, Apara people are totally in his support, the Head Chief of Owhu community said.

Chief Mgbakiri restated his call for Obio/Akpor people to support His Majesty to enable him succeed in administering Obio/Akpor traditional institution and Ikwerre and Rivers State at large.
