Two Men suspected to be cultists and oil thieves have been arrested for allegedly burying alive three persons they accused of informing the Police about their illegal bunkering operations
The Victims,Baridomale SundayTor, Baridon Gbarabera and Barisiton Nawee, were said to be buried alive with their mouths and arns tied by their abductors on March 14. The victims were declared missing afer they did not return to their homes making the police to swing into action.
After months of Investigation,two suspected cultists,Barididum Dana,aka ‘kill and bury’ and patner, Prophet Nkpe,both mambers of the notorious Degbam Cult group were arrested by a team of the Anti-cultism Unit of the Nigerian Police Command.and led the Policemen to the area where the three bodies were exhumed.
On interrogation, the suspects confessed that they were members of the Degbam cult group and that they tied the hands and legs of the victims and buried them alive in a shallow well. Barididum Daana said that the victims were buried alive because they found out that they informed the Police of their illegal oil bunkering activities.
