Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has felicitated with Sir Dr. Peter Otunaya Odili, former Governor of Rivers State as he celebrates his 72nd Birthday on Saturday 15thAugust ,2020.
In a statement from the Government House in Port Harcourt, Dr. Banigo described Sir Dr. Odili as a great leader, philanthropist and patriot who positively impacted on the lives of the Rivers People and beyond during his tenure as the Governor of Rivers State, noting that his leadership style which was non-discriminatory gave Rivers State a pride of place in the comity of States in the Country.
Dr. Banigo who commended Sir Dr. Peter Odili for establishing the Pamo University of Medical Sciences in the State disclosed that this would give the Rivers People the opportunity to produce more qualified health professionals.
The Deputy Governor while wishing him many happy returns, prayed the Almighty God to continue to bless and keep him in good health.
