Bro Felix Obuah Mourns Late Nwakaudu
The Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency, (RIWAMA) Bro Felix Obuah says the sudden demise of the Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu is not only a huge loss to media practitioners and the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) but also to the larger Nigerian public.
The RIWAMA boss who made the remark while reacting as late Nwakaudu was being committed to mother earth in his home town, Abia State on Thursday, August 20, 2020 described the death of the Special Assistant to Governor Wike on Electronic Media as most untimely and unfortunate.
Bro Obuah however, noted that late Mr. Nwakaudu did not die in vain having contributed remarkably to the lively press in Rivers State and Nigeria as a whole while he lived, and also left a legacy that will be hardly equaled in the media world especially in political communication.
“Mr. Simeon Nwakaudu’s death is too heavy to bear but we pray God will give his family, the Rivers State government and us, his admirers in Rivers State the grace and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and also grant his soul peaceful rest,” Obuah prayed.
Recall that Mr Simeon Nwakaudu, a seasoned journalist died on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt.
