Rivers State Deputy Governor Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harry Banigo has felicitated with the Bishop of the Niger Delta Diocese, Rt. Rev Ralph Cornelius Ebirien and his wife Mrs. Victoria Ebirien as they celebrate their 35th marriage anniversary.
In a statement from the Government House in Port Harcourt on Monday, 31st August 2020, Dr. Banigo who described marriage as a divine institution said the marriage of Bishop Ebirien and his wife is an epitome of everything a Christian marriage ought to be.
She urged young people aspiring to tie the nuptial knot to emulate Bishop Ebirien and his dear wife by making our Lord Jesus Christ the foundation of their marriage, noting that when Jesus Christ is in the family the home becomes a happy one.
Dr. Banigo while congratulating them for their successful marriage prayed the Almighty God to continue to bless their union.
Meanwhile, former representative of the Rivers South-East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, has felicitated with Elder Chidi Wihioka on his birthday and described him as a steadfast, unwavering, and trustworthy politician.
Abe, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt and signed by his spokesperson, Parry Saroh Benson, said the former member, House of Representatives who represented Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency, has demonstrated great love and patriotism towards Rivers State and deserves commendation and celebration on his birthday.
Senator Abe commended the political prowess and exemplary qualities of Elder Wihioka stating that no amount of encomium would be sufficient and prayed God to keep him in good health.
