Feelamboy Makes Waves As ‘Omo 9ja’ Rocks Kenya, Uganda, Botswana
Despite the forced restrictions imposed on performing artists and entertainers the world over, no thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the twinkling stars in Port Harcourt based hip-hop artist, Feelamboy has refused to be dimmed.
This is because Feelamboy (born Lucky Victor Hanson) has taken his soon to be released song, ‘Omo 9ja’ to the airwaves of the East African countries of Kenya and Uganda; andto Botswana in the Southern hemisphere.
He told National Network in a recent chat that he is determined to change the Covid-19 narrative, adding ‘If the mountain won’t come to Mohammed, Mohammed must go to the mountain’.
He said the single track is being played like a hot cake in those countries radio stations and that the situation gives him joy that his work is being appreciated.
“One of my good friends in Uganda, DJ Steve K Selector has been doing a great job playing ‘Omo 9ja’ on Gomba 99.5 Fm. He also posted a bit of the track on mp3 which has been trending online. Kudos to DJ Steve”, Feelamboy said, adding that the DJ is one of Uganda’s biggest music promoter.
The Akwa-Ibom born music star disclosed that in the South African nation of Botswana, the rocking the airwaves, courtesy of one of the country’s music promoter, DJ Hype. He added that he and the DJ are also working the remix of Omo 9ja which will be released all at the same time.
Feelamboy who also revealed thickening plans to relocate to Lagos any moment, said soon as things get back to normal, he would embark on a tour of Kenya, Uganda and Botswana to promote his songs, including ‘choma’ and ‘fire’.
He urged his fans not to lose sleep but to believe in him for more releases. “I am not relenting in my determination to keep you guys happy. Coro or no coro, there is much more on the way. With God on my side, heaven is my limit”, he enthused.
