Residents of six communities in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State have fled their homes following a joint operation by security agents which led to the death of three persons.
The communities are Ibotirem, Ajakajak, Samanga, Dema, Oturia and Otuafu.
Some Residents who spoke to our Correspondent said Joint Taskforce comprising Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, the Military and Navy in company of Andoni Security Peace and Advisory Council, ANOSPAC stormed the communities in gun boats while residents were preparing for Church service.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer, 6 Division, Nigerian Army, Major Charles Ekeocha and the police spokesman Nnamdi Omoni both said they were yet to be briefed and promised to get back to our correspondent.
