…Reveals Identities Of Killed Officers
The Rivers State Police Command says it has arrested twenty one suspects in connection with the arson attack on three Police stations and killing of three Policemen in the state by hoodlums who hijacked the EndSARS protest.
Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, CP Joseph Mukan, made the revelation while parading the suspects at the Police headquarters.
CP Mukan disclosed that Inspector Sunday AP/N0 241542, Sergent Swawale Ornan F/N0 414018 and Umunna Uchechukwu F/N0 424944 were killed in the attack.
CP Mukan revealed that three Stations under Oyigbo Area Command were burnt while one station was destroyed.
The Police Commissioner revealed that twenty one suspects were arrested and four suspects killed and vowed to rid the state of all manner of crime and criminality.
He promised to sustain the existing peace in the state and appealed for support and cooperation.
CP Mukan further warned those destroying private and public property to have a rethink or face the wrath of the law.
He disclosed that Oyigbo Area Command,Oyigbo and Afam Divisional Police headquarters were burnt while Umuebulu Police Division in Eberi/Omuma LGA.
CP Mukan stated that the rampaging hoodlums were repelled by the superior power of officers of Mile 1 Divisional Police headquarters from attacking the station.
