Book Launch Commends Author’s Passion, Commitment On Prayers

A Christian book author, Pastor Abiola Ajadi has been commended for adding another impactful publication to the body of Christian literature through passion and commitment to the work of God despite his background as a Muslim.

This was among other commendations that trailed the publication of a book titled Secrets to Answered Prayers as the forward of the book was presented by Minister Aboasede Adebayo, the Zonal Director of NTA Port Harcourt Network Center. who noted that the author who had embraced Christianity in the past 28 years had served in various capacities as an intercessor, assistant pastor and pastor at different places which include Lagos Oyo, Osun and now the Minister-in-Charge Rhema Chapel International Churches Port Harcourt, leading to his wealth of experience in prayer related subjects.

Minister Abosede Adebayo noted that this would be the second published work by the author whom she explained already has 15 yet to be published titles which are expected to enter the Public domain in the near future. She listed inspiring virtues possessed by the writer to include the believe that nothing is impossible, passion, devotion and generosity.

In his remark, Chairman of the Book Launch Committee, Elder Edwin Oliseh who quoted from the book of Psalm 68:11, stated that the book launch had a great company to publish It. Elder Oliseh declared that anyone who will join the company to publish the word will become an achiever of distinction. He acknowledged the vision of the book writer which translated to distribution for public consumption.

The chairman likened the book launch to firing a rocket but noted that this would require a force behind it. He said that the book may not get to its destination until it is propelled by being launched publicly. He then appealed to the congregation and Christians world over to be part of it and take full advantage of the benefits in Secrets to Answered Prayers.

Similarly, the book reviewer, Min. (Dr.) Gordon Amangabara commenced his review by saying that it is important to know secrets and informed that part of the idea the author tried to put across, especially to Christians is to ensure they pray with purpose.

The reviewer noted that the work was dedicated to the author’s lovely family. “The author gave guides, knowing that the subject of prayers is mostly misunderstood,” he said. According to the reviewer, the book containing 10 chapters considered what it takes to pray: and be guided by God: that prayer is not the last result: it is a communion with the Father, among others.

On his part, the author commended the book launch committee and expressed the fact that he was humble by display of goodwill of brethren who waited patiently to be part of the occasion amid other activities. He explained that writers have intentions while readers have expectation. The author stated that his background in Islam led to his perspective. “In my quest to know God, I discovered the power of prayer. I also write because of the attitude of Christians to prayer. And because I have preached on the subject, I have the passion to write about it, “as he stated part of his intentions for writing.

The book launch which came up on the last Sunday in the month of January was well attended by the church congregation at Rhema Chapel International churches Port Harcourt.
