Mbata Urges Nigerians To Emulate Late Ogunka’s Lifestyle
Elder statesman, Chief Shedrack Chukwuemeka Mbata has called on Nigerians to emulate the lifestyle of late Ojiowhor Adolphus AnyabeleOgunka who was a role model to the younger generation during his life time.
Speaking during the funeral ceremonies of the late Ogunka at Eliogbolo, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area at the weekend, Chief Mbata charged Nigerians of all persuations to emulate the characteristics and lifestyle of the deceased which was anchored on honesty, sincerity and sound judgment.
The Eze Omekwa-Eli Erin Wene of Eliogbolo explained that another quality that marked out the late community leader was truthfulness, adding that Nigerians should always tell the truth as was the case with the deceased.
“During his life time, he was fondly called ‘education has no end’. He did not relent in promoting education for the young and old”, he said.
Also speaking, the chief mourner and first son of the late Ojiowhor, Mr. Mathew Adolphus Ogunka said that his late father left a very big vacuum for him and his siblings to fill, describing his late dad as a peace maker and an astute community leader whose approach to community issues was second to none.
He thanked all those whose contributions helped to make the burial of his late father a huge success.
