ONELGA PDP Campaign Train Arrives Ndoni

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni for the Rivers State Local Government elections billed for April 17, Monday March 29, took his campaign for support to Ndoni pledging serious attention to security and youth empowerment among others as his priority.

Chief Job said if voted into office, he will give the people of ONELGA egalitarian leadership that would respect the fundamental rights of the people.

Chief Job who was overwhelmed by the mass turnout for the visit, promised not to let them down for the confidence reposed in him by the party and will never play politics with the development of Onelga as the outgoing chairman never did.

He assured that with his running mate who is their daughter, Mrs. Stella Agada in the cabinet, they should be rest assured of dividends of democracy.

The executive chairman of Onelga who doubles as the Director General of the campaign council, Hon. Victor Odili thanked the people for the unflinching support given to them and promised that PDP will never turn the people down, but will continue to create a conducive atmosphere for peace and development.

Hon. Odili also extolled the leadership qualities of the chairmanship candidate, Hon. Job, expressing optimism that if he is voted to power come April, the people of Onelga will continue to witness speedy development stressing that the choice of chief Job and Mrs. Agada would folster the development of the area.

He also prayed for a cordial relationship between the Chairman and the PDP councilors when voted into power nothing that together in one accord will there be peace and meaningful development as well as mutual benefits for both the chair and the councilors.  

Hon. Odili also assured the people of Onelga of the completion and commissioning of the 64 lockup shops at Omoku before leaving office.

In their solidarity speeches, the party stalwarts which include Hon. Ohia Prince Obi, Hon Nathaniel Elendu Uwaji, Hon. Dr. Christian Ahiakwo, Princewill Ejekwu, Prof. Jason Ossai , stressed the need to ensure that all hands be on deck to win the April 17 polls.

Also speaking, the flag-bearer for ward 14, Opene Peter Chukwunwike who charged the people to vote for him, the chairmanship candidate and all other PDP candidates at the polls, adding that the votes for them would be bring a new lease of life and sense of belonging by the PDP-led administration in the state.

He said he would ensure to channel his resources to ventures such as assisting youths on education by giving them educational materials that would assist them in pursuance of their education within his 100 days in office.
