Rumuolumeni Community Expresses Gratitude To Gov. Wike

…As Akpor LG PDP Campaign Rounds off

The Rumuolumeni Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State said they would ever remain grateful to the State Chief Executive, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for all that he has done for them especially on roads and infrastructural development of the area.

Speaking with newsmen in the community during the LG electioneering campaign rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Ward 17 Rumuolumeni, party leader, Chief (Barrister) Hanny Woko said the Rumuolumeni Community cannot thank the governor enough for all they have benefitted from the Wike administration.

“We are grateful to the governor for wiping away tears from our eyes. He not only fixed all our dilapidated roads but also lavished us with appointements.

The Secretary of the Rivers State Taskforce Committee on the Recovery of Government properties said his people are ready to do anything to reciprocate the gesture through their massive support for the Wike administration. Chief Woko said they are also grateful for the outgoing council chairman of Obio/Akpor LGA, Hon Prince Solomon Eke for setting up the jetty in the area.

“We also appreciate the governor for his superlative performance in office. Outside Chief Diete-Spiff, Wike is the next best governor the state has produced. His love and passion for Rivers State is something else.

Wike can sacrifice anything for the State. This country needs a fearless and courageous leader like him at this point in time. He believes in the unity and peaceful co-existence of the country”. Chief Woko made it clear that Wike cannot be on the seat while bandits and Boko Haram harass and kill the citizens at will.

“Wike will lead the soldiers to the warfront and root out the terrorists, if he is in charge of affairs,” he said.

He prayed that the authorities would consider him for a national assignment after his tenure as governor, adding that hid worth would not be noticed now until much later when he has left office.

On the PDP chairmanship candidate for Obio/Akpor LGA, Chief Barr. George T. Ariolu and the Ward 17 Councillorship candidate, Hon. Madam Charity Green, the ward leader said they are competent politicians who have understudied the governor enough to duplicate what he has done at the grassroot. He urged everybody to mobilize support for the PDP candidates to clinch victory at the forthcoming LG election.

He made it known that with what the governor has put in place across all the 23 LGAs of the state, the electioneering campaign is just a mere exercise, and used the opportunity to appeal to the electorates to come out enmasse on Saturday, vote and protect their votes for the PDP to ensure total victory.
