Labour Party Ward 3 Onicha Ezinihitte Executive Inaugurated

Leaders of the Labour Party (LP) in Imo State, particularly from Ezinihitte Mbaise turned up en-masse for the inauguration of Labour Party Ward 3 Onicha Ezinihitte Executive on Thursday August 18, at Ezeji Onicha Town Hall Ekeoha.

The top notches included, Dr. Okey Nwanguma – retired Army Colonel, Prof. Lawrance Ahukanna, retired University Administrator, Engr. Kingsley Onwumbiko, House of Assembly aspirant, Engr. John Agu, Engr. Gregory Alozie, one of the Imo State coordinators, Goodluck Ohiri, Gerald Okonko, Chief Emma Anosike, Endurance Nwabueze, Hon Cosmos, etc.

The ward executive is led by Nnoromele Innocent as chairman and Zephinus Amaziro as secretary. Polycarp Nwaeke, a seasoned journalist who is the Deputy Editor of National Network Newspaper was introduced as the Media Director.

Engr. Kingsley Onwumbiko described the Ward 3 chairman, Nnoromele Innocent as a dependable and trustworthy ally. He expressed confidence that Noromele would make Labour Party formidable in Onicha Ezinihitte while urging other executive members to work with him in order to deliver the votes of Ward 3 to Peter Obi and the Labour Party in 2023 general elections.

All the leaders, particularly Prof. Lawrence Ahukanna and Engr. Gregory Alozie spoke glowingly about the revolution the Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi had engineered in Nigerian politics, stressing that in a free and fair election, Obi would carry the day.

They spoke of the fear Obi’s popularity had instilled in his opponents and their resort to blackmailing him.

According to them, while Obi has indulged in issue based campaigns, his rivals, Tinubu and Atiku had resorted to politics of diatribe and mudslinging. They however expressed joy that despite their blackmail Obi’s supporters have increased exponentially and attributed the situation to the hand of God.

The new Ward 3 chairman Nnoromele Innocent complained about the attitude of Booth 007 Umuaghara saying the members had not been cooperative. He advised them to change to a new leaf and work for the progress of Labour Party in the 2023 elections.
