Rivers NSCDC Deploys 357 Officers For Eid-El-Kabir Celebration
As part of measures put in place to ensure a hitch-free Sallah celebration, the Rivers State Commandant NSCDC, Aliyu Bature has deployed a total of three hundred and fifty seven personnel of the Command for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
A statement by the spokesperson of Rivers NSCDC and Assistant Commandant of Corps, Oguntuase Michael which was made available to National Network disclosed that the personnel are to ensure all recreation centers, places of worship, all the oil pipeline installations/ locations and identified flashpoints are heavily guarded before, during and after the celebration.
NSCDC however enjoined residents of the State to report all suspicious movements around them to the nearest security outpost for prompt response, and to stay away from acts capable of undermining the peace and tranquility enjoyed in the state as such will meet stiff resistance from the Command.
