Late Eze Ogba Left Worthy Legacies – Traditional Ruler
The Late Ogbaland monarch, Chukumela Nnam Obi 2 has been said to have left worthy legacies to be emulated by generations unborn. This was the view of HRH Eze Owabie Tobin, Paramount Ruler/Nyenweli Mgbundukuw Community Mile 2 Diobu, He stated this In a chat with news men at his palace in Port Harcourt over the weekend.
He mentained that the late monarch not only preserved the cultural and traditional heritage of his people but was able to partner effectively with the GOVT and his colleagues to have been able to lead the Traditional Ruler Council for four consecutive time with ease
The Royal Father disclosed further that “Eze Chukumela’s carriage on the throne was something else”. He the appealed to the Ogba Council of Chiefs to extend the same cooperation to the successor in order to consolidate on the achievements recorded. Eze Owabie Tobin used the opportunity to commend Governor Nyeson Woke for the state burial accorded their Departed colleague, assuring that this gesture would encourage them the more to support his administration.
The Paramount Ruler also used the opportunity to appeal to the RSG to come to the support of victims of the Egede/ Okwelle Street fire disaster in Diobu that recently rendered them homeless. He also appealed for the quick reconstruction of the Iloaubchi Street/ Ikoku junction road project in Diobu to reduce the stress on the people.
Eze Owabie commended the Governor for his focused leadership qualities describing him as a listening Governor who will continue to enjoy their support, in his Political Career.
