Nwabrije Salutes New Oba Of Ogbaland  On Successful Coronation

As messages of adulation continue to herald the coronation of the new Oba (Eze Ogba) of Ogbaland, Eze Nwachukwu Obuohna Nnam Obi III, a prominent son of the Ogba ethnic nationality, Hon Emmanuel Nwabrije, has expressed joy over the successes that greeted the historic ceremony.

Nwabrije, a governorship candidate of Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) in the 2019 general elections in Rivers State said the coronation signposted a significant era in the annals of Ogbaland.

Speaking on the sidelines of the colourful ceremony which shut down all activities in Omoku, headquarters of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) penultimate Saturday, the seasoned Management and Public Relations expert said words would fail him to express his admiration for the new king whom he aptly qualified as a round peg in a round hole.

“Stepping into a new position is an exciting feat, and I’m delighted you have this opportunity. Knowing you, you’ll shine more in this new role than you already do”, Nwabrije said, revealing the rare privilege of boyhood relationship with the Ogba monarch back in their days at secondary school.

The politician, who also served as Vice Chairman of the 2019 Forum of Guber Candidates, Rivers State chapter, expressed confidence that Ogbaland is ready for a new direction with the monarch leading the way.

“His Eminence is a renown trailblazer in management, with well over 30 years’ experiencein administration and human resources. With him on the great Ukpe throne, we look up for directions. Our hopes are rekindled and our joy knows no bound in the hearts and minds of our people.

“”His dedication, candor, diligence and humility makes him the right man to ascend the ancient Ukpe throne. Ogbaland has welcomed in a new age of shared prosperity, a new King with the fear of God, and a heart of gold”, he averred, adding that the young Oba led a good life, had a great career with a morally right upbringing and blessed with a wonderful mentor in his father, the late Oba of Ogbaland Sir (Dr.) Chukumela Nnam Obi II.

“Almighty God in His infinite wisdom makes a king after His heart. The likes of biblical king David is akin to a servant leader, a king with the fear of God, love and respect for his people.

” On this note, I pray for God’s wisdom and guidance upon his life to always guide and lead him aright, so he in turn will lead us to our utopia and make Ogbaland greater”, he declared.
