O.B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation Holds Free Law Clinic In PH, Friday

Residents of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital and the general public as a whole will be treated to a free legal advice from lawyers on Friday, November 5, 2021 following a Free Law Clinic organized by the O.B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation.

A statement released by the Foundation said the programme was being initiated in line with the organization’s commitment to promoting social justice, inclusivity and the rule of law in Nigeria, and as part of its year-long 20th Anniversary Celebration.

It added that since 2001, the O.B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation has been implementing sustainable interventions that enhance the quality of life for under-served persons in peri-urban and rural communities across and beyond Nigeria’s Niger Delta region.

According to the statement, areas to be covered by the free law clinic include, Family and Matrimonial Law; Domestic Violence; Will and Inheritance Rights; Landlord and Tenant Law and Pension Law.

Other areas are Workers Compensation; Road Traffic; Consumer and Criminal Law.

The programme which has been slated by 10am-2pm, would take place at La Sien Pavilion Royale, 22 Forces Avenue, Old GRA, Port Harcourt.

The statement enjoined all participants to ensure to observe all Covid-19 protocols.
