Mgbundukwu Monarch Congratulates Eze Nsirim

The Paramount Ruler/Nyenweli Mgbundukwu Community in Diobu, HRH Eze Owabie Tobin has congratulated his Rumueme Kingdom counterpart, HRM EZE Omunnakwe N. Nsirim, MON, Apiti of Rumueme and Paramount Ruler/Nyenweli Rumueme Kingdom in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State for the deserved elevation of his traditional stool to first class status.

Speaking with newsmen over the weekend in Port Harcourt when he and his cabinet paid the Apiti and his council of chiefs a curtesy visit, Eze Owabie disclosed that the peaceful disposition of the people of Rumueme Kingdom confirms the leadership quality of the King.  He prayed God to continue to preserve the life of the King for the benefit of them all.

Owabie who is the “Eze Onumini I of Diobu ” stressed that the visit is important to them in order for them to continue to learn from Eze Nsirim’s wealth of experience.  He used the opportunity to appeal to the Rivers State government to fully utilize the wisdom of the Royal Fathers by carving out  statutory roles for them.

On the situation of the Nigerian nation, Eze Owabie was optimistic and prophesized that the country would soon be out of the wood again.  According to him, “With the successful national convention of the People’s Democratic Party PDP over the weekend at Abuja, the country will be rescued from the wicked clutches of the FG-led APC through the concerted effort of the Nyesom Wike team. 

The monarch stated that the Rivers chapter of the APC has once again recently showcased it’s inability to put their house in order, let alone the focus needed to rescue the nation.  He used the chance to commend all the delegates and participants at the just concluded PDP convention for their peaceful disposition and success recorded.

He however, advised the former PDP National chairman, Prince Uche Secondus to swallow his pride and rejoin his boss to build a new Nigeria where everyone would be proud of.    He also joined other stakeholders to call for immediate probe into the security invasion of Justice Mary Odili’s house, adding that it was an embarrassment to the judiciary and the country as a whole.

Eze Owabie used the opportunity to once more call on the attention of the Ministries of Works and Environment as well as the Phalga Ward 15 Councillor, Hon Ms Queen Queeneth to the life threatening gully erosion at the end of Akokwa street, Diobu for them to collaborate effort to fix it before it’s too late.
