Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo has urged Christians to avoid actions that would not glorify God because, He has destined man to praise His Glory.
Dr. Banigo stated this during the Convention and Special Anniversary Thanksgiving Service of Kingdom Life Gospel Outreach Ministries in Port Harcourt on Sunday, 28th November 2021.
According to Dr. Banigo, whatever you are doing and you are not praising His Glory, you need to get back to destiny.
“One thing the devil fights is our destiny because he knows that if each of us fulfils our destiny, this world will be a better place, but we also need to fight, for it is God who works in us to do His will and pleasure, the devil has no part in our destiny”. Dr. Banigo quipped.
Dr. Banigo said a few people still have trouble and get disappointed after giving their lives to Christ, which she attributed to faulty foundation, adding that the righteous needs to go back and correct the faulty foundation.
“So many things can cause strongholds and it has to be dealt with, so many people say Rivers State has a proud heritage.
I say no, I reject proud heritage, we have a goodly heritage, strongholds like, pride, soul ties, immortality, ancestral issues, we need to get back to the foundation, because we have been predestined, according to the purposes of Him, who works in us after His counsel and Will”. Dr. Banigo further stressed.
The Deputy Governor, who described Bishop Victor Uzosike as a leading light within and outside the shores of Rivers State in leading men and women to discover, recover and fulfil destinies, added that legacies are birthed in the place of destiny.
Speaking on the theme “Manifesting Kingdom Dominion”, drawn from Ezekiel 36:26-27, the Presiding Bishop of Kingdom Life Gospel Outreach, Bishop Victor Uzosike, said the anointing of God is critical at this time and season of our nationhood, noting that for the Country to survive the cloud of darkness plaguing it, would depend on the prayers of the saints.
He noted that for believers to manifest kingdom dominion, they must activate the river of the anointing within them.
