PAMO university of medical sciences Port Harcourt, Rivers State will hold its first convocation Saturday, December 18, 2021.
The graduation ceremony is also scheduled to mark the forth Founders’ Day of the foremost university of medical sciences in the country.
The registrar of the institution, Barr. W. U. G. Imoedemhe in a statement outlined a number of activities in preparation of the first graduation ceremony of the university ahead of the historic event. They include a medical outreach to designated locations by the students of the institution, special convocation Jumaat service, tour of campus/facilities and a novelty match among others, all scheduled for Friday, December 17.
His Excellency, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Governor, Rivers State will be the special guest of honour while the convocation lecture will be delivered by Professor Abubakar Rasheed, executive secretary, National University Commission.
