Etche Non-Indigenes Group Celebrates PDP Stakeholders
The Non-Indigenes Group in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Etche chapter has felicitated with the party stakeholders in the state especially the State Chairman, Amb. Desmond Akawor, Hon. Emma Anyanwu, Hon Tony Ejiogu, the Local Government Council Chairman, Dr (Hon) Obinna Anyanwu, the LG party Chairman, Barr (Hon) Otamiri and indeed all the officers and councillors of the local government for the empowerment programme the party organized for them.
Speaking with the newsmen at the event recently, the group coordinator, Hon Michael Emesiobi (JP) said they were indeed grateful for the stakeholders carrying them along in the scheme of things, adding that such privilege is not enjoyed in other states of the federation.
He assured the stakeholders of their unalloyed support at all times especially in mobilizing support for the PDP electioneering campaigns as well as securing victory in the next political dispensation.
Hon. Emesiobi said the Non-Indigenes group was particularly grateful to their national chairman and commissioner for special duties, Hon Emeka Onowu whose benevolence they noted, had rubbed off on them.
“Without the Commissioner exposing us to the stakeholders we would not have benefitted this much and so we would remain eternally indebted to him,” he said.
Hon. Emesiobi maintained that the group is ready to repeat what they did to ensure victory for the PDP in the state over and over again.
The group coordinator used the opportunity to appeal to his members to go and get/ update their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) to enable them reciprocate the party’s goodwill for them.
He equally appealed to the stakeholders to consider empowering the women and youths to enable them to be self-reliant.
Hon. Emesiobi also used the chance to commend the Etche council boss for the achievements recorded so far in office which includes erection of market stalls, grading of internal roads and provision of security of lives and property.
He also commended the chairman specially for the peace and unity he has recorded in the council area and beyond.
The coordinator equally used the opportunity to commend the state governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for his achievements these past years and urged him to make himself available for the vacant office of the presidency in 2023 in order to join other well-meaning Nigerians to rescue the country which he noted, is dangerously sliding into anarchy.
