The monarch of Apara Kingdom, HRM, Eze Chike Amadi Worlu Wodo (JP) says he would not tolerate the activities of illegal refiners, popularly known as kpofire business in Apara Kingdom.
To this end, he has directed his subjects to report anybody seen involved in the illegal business to him for onward handover to the security agents for prosecution.
Eze Wodo gave the warning in a peace meeting he held with Apara Kingdom Chiefs, elders, leaders and youths at Obiri Ehie Apara in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State.
His majesty said he was determined to support the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike chase away those in this illegal business in order to have clean and healthy environment for people living and doing business in the state.
The Eze Oha Apara IV commended Governor Wike for his developmental projects, stressing that Apara people were solidly behind him.
He advised his subjects to continue to maintain the existing peace in Apara Kingdom, while urging them to report anybody involved in illegal activities to him.
The meeting had in attendance Chiefs, elders, Owhor-holders, leaders and youths of the eight clans that make up Apara Kingdom.
