The authorities of Kenule Beeson Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic, (‘KenPoly’) Bori, Rivers State, use this medium to remind both fresh and returning students as well as parents and guardians that payment of school fees remains MANDATORY on all students of the Institution.
Accordingly, the Polytechnic has set up a task force to ensure compliance from all students. The task force will undertake routine checks to Lecture Halls to sight evidence of fees payment, hence all students are directed to co-operate with the task force or face appropriate sanctions.
It is necessary to re-iterate that only students who have paid their school fees up to date are bonafide students of ‘KenPoly’ and our policy of ‘no payment of school fees, no exams’ stands.

It is necessary to re-state that as a responsible and responsive administration, the financial burden on the Management of the Polytechnic is enormous, hence the need for this reminder. We are faced with payment of Casual Staff, the provision of routine basic utilities such as diesel for electricity, water, drugs and other equipment for our Medical Centre, maintenance services, instructional materials as well as other logistics executed from our Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
As we commend some students who are conscious of the above and have paid their fees up to date, we sue for the understanding of all students, parents, guardians as well as the general public. Kindly note that ‘KenPoly’ will not hesitate to continually apply appropriate measures to ensure the sustenance of academic activities as well as our routine responsibilities to bonafide students.
