Christians Enjoined To Involve God In All they Do
Christians have been advised to form the habit of involving God in all their endeavours in life. This was part of the sermon preached during the activities marking the fifth year anniversary of The Majesty International Christian Centre situated at Woji Town in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
In a chat with newsmen at the sideline of the event, the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Innocent Igwe said they were grateful to God for the remarkable achievements God has been using them to accomplish.
The G.O. who is also known as the “Apostle of Deliverance” boasted that there is no type of demonic operation or suppression which they have not overcame through God Almighty in the centre.
“There is no type of affliction that is above our God these past five years”, he said.
He stated that testimonies abound of what God has used him to accomplish, adding that for whom God called, He will surely find a way to equip him/her. “What is required in this course is holiness and righteousness, added to obedience to the Word of God.
Asked to comment on the country as the next general election approaches, Pastor Igwe prophesied that Nigeria will be grate again as God is interested in the forthcoming election.
He recalled that all that he prophesied last year and beyond came to past including answered prayers as well as deliverance of the afflicted.
The G.O. however used the opportunity to list out some of their challenges to include spiritual and physical battles as well as other needs in the worship of God that is handicapped by finance.
“This ministry has impacted both great men and lowly ones in the society but is still on a temporary site. It is our desire and faith that God will move us to our permanent site through peoples support one day”, he declared.
However, the G.O maintained that their membership grows by the leap on daily basis as they preach nothing but righteousness and holiness even as they deliver those in bondage.
Pastor Igwe equally used the opportunity to commend the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for what he described as his excellent performance in governance including his courage to fight the operators and sponsors of the illegal oil refineries in the state which he noted has drastically reduced the soot menace in the state.
The man of God however, appealed to the governor to have a human face in the destruction of the waterfronts because of its attendant hardship on the dwellers.
“He should either pay them compensation or provide them alternative accommodation,” he advised.
He also commended the governor for the way he combated the insecurity he inherited in the state on assumption of office in 2015.
The G.O however, appealed to the governor to be involved alongside other stakeholders to choose another patriotic leader who would succeed him in office “at least for continuity sake”, he said.
The man of God also made case for rotational system of the political positions in the state for equity, fairness and justice to prevail inorder to engender a peaceful and united polity.
Pastor Igwe who also used the chance to celebrate his own 50th Birthday anniversary expressed gratitude to God for all His benefits.
He promised to give back more to the society, assuring that hell and heaven is real, adding that the life one lives here on earth guarantees his/her destination hereafter.
