Security Operatives Arrest Ibaa Chief Declared Wanted By Gov Wike

Security operatives in the wee hours of Sunday stormed the residence of Chief Fubara Ohaka, a Chief in Ibaa, Emohua LGA in Port Harcourt and arrested him, alongside two of his Police details.

An aide to the Chief Fubara, Baron Wisdom confirmed the development to our reporter on  telephone.

However, controversy has continued to trail the whereabouts of Ibaa Chief 48 hours after his arrest as no security agency has accepted responsibility for the arrest.

The Police command in the state has also kept mum over the arrest. The acting spokesperson for the State Police command, DSP Grace Iringe Koko did not respond to several calls and text messages sent to her mobile lines.

The arrest of the Ibaa Chief is coming three months after Governor Wike declared him and two other chiefs in Ibaa wanted over alleged sponsorship of illegal oil bunkering activities in the community, an allegation Chief Ohaka denied.
