Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs on Monday picked the nomination and interest form of Accord Party for the Governorship election in Rivers State.
Addressing Journalists after picking the form at Accord Party Secretariat in Port Harcourt, Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs disclosed that the exercise was made possible by God.
“God has brought defining moment in Rivers state and all of us shall be part of it. We thank the past leaders and the present leader for the efforts they have made. By the special grace of God, we shall work with all of them to take Rivers State to greater height. Let’s find courage that comes with prayer”.
“There is going to be a great governance and very great times in Rivers state from 2023.Accord party shall form the next Government in Rivers State but let no party worry about that, we shall form Government that includes everybody, whether you are in PDP, APC, Accord, APGA or NNPP, whatever Political party you belong to, just know that the next Government we are going to form is Accord Government, a government for all of us.
“I am the people’s person, I belong to just everybody, I have come this far not because of the help of a God father, is the God factor, God is my father. Everything we have done to this point is God, Everything we shall do is God. Everything we Shall do when in Government is God. All we shall be is as purpose by God and we shall seek his blessing, every single day, so that we are able to feel every single minute, sixty seconds with productive activity for Rivers people.
“We shall engage with everyone as we have done which is customary, we shall take our messages everywhere, to churches, market, nooks and crannies of Rivers state. Let everyone hear the We Agenda, that Rivers people are in one Accord, that we shall put people first, that is the message we shall take everywhere.
“So that when we form government they we remind us every single day the thing and action that is not in tandem with what we have pledged”, he said.
Chief Dumo added that he is not the most qualified but God qualifies the chosen.
