The Paramount Ruler of Rumuodara Community, Eze John Enyindah Amadi (JP), last week Saturday June 18 hosted Oro Esara Council of Chiefs at the Rumuodara Civic Centre.
The meeting had in attendance a coterie of traditional rulers and chiefs, including HRH Eze Sir (Hon) S. O. Worlu Nyerisi Mbam Oro-Esara Kingdom, Eze Nsirim Weli Ahuwhuo Nwoke – Chairman Oro-Esara Council of Chiefs, Chief Clifford O. Tasie Eze Rike Mbam II – General Secretary, Chief Ogunda N. Ichenwo Eze Oganuru-nwhu – Vice Chairman, Chief Engr. Tim EN Amaewhule Eze Gwuzo N’Eziokwu I – Financial Secretary, Chief Rowland Ogunda Amadi Eze Nga Nga I – Treasurer, Chief George I. Amadi Eze Omekwa Eli Oro-Esara – Publicity Secretary and a host of others.
Being the first time Eze John Amadi hosted them since he became Paramount Ruler, the Chiefs were welcomed to Rumuodara Civic Centre Venue of the meeting with four rounds of cannon shots by Rumuodara Community.
Our correspondent gathered that Esara is made up of 18 communities and that Oro-Esara Council of chiefs is the highest decision making body of the kingdom who administers the affairs of the 18 communities.
It was further gathered that the hosting of the meeting by Eze John Amadi was a confirmation and acceptance of his membership of the body.
Eze Amadi who was very elated to play host to the august assembly lavished them with entertainment.
Oro Esara Council of Chiefs meeting is rotated among members every month.
