…Commends All Political Parties For Organizing Peaceful Primary Elections
The people of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) of Rivers State especially the elites both at home and in diaspora irrespective of their political leanings, ethnic group, religion or gender have been charged to always live exemplary and responsible life worthy of emulation devoid of rancor, unnecessary agitations and denting the good image of the oil rich LGA.
The Executive Chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Hon Vincent Nwaobakata Job, JP who gave the charge while playing host to a delegation of members of Otu Ozimini Age Grade of Ogba Kingdom (World Wide) led by its National Chairman Prince Charles Amadike-Otoboh, JP, (Mmboh Krikri) visited him at his residence at Omoku also commended all political parties existing in the area for organizing a peaceful primary election without rancor and acrimony.
He also thanked the people of the area for their understanding and putting behind them the outcome of the 2022 Rivers State PDP Governorship primary election which one of their illustrious sons, a celebrated philanthropist and political leader in the person of Bro. Felix Amaechi Obuah, JP, (Mbanabragwu) participated but was allegedly short changed and disappointed at the dying minute of the contest.
The ONELGA Chairman who also appreciated members of the Otu Ozimini Age Grade of Ogba Kingdom (World Wide) for their unity and always standing firm behind their members namely Bro. Felix Amaechi Obuah, Hon Nathaniel Elendu Uwaji, and Dr. Frankline Uchenna Nwabochi among others urged other Age Grades, Clubs, and Associations in the area to emulate them as the use of violence to gain political, traditional or religious relevance is wrong and an aberration to civilization.
Hon Vincent Job thanked his guests for the visit and for appreciating the little he has so far done, promised to extend his developmental programmes and projects to all wards and communities in ONELGA by putting smiles on their faces irrespective of their political parties and called for peace, support and understanding from all to enable him succeed.
Earlier, the National Chairman, Central Working Committee (CWC) of Otu Ozimini Age Grade of Ogba Kingdom (World Wide), Prince Charles Amadike – Otoboh, JP (Mmboh Krikri) had commended the ONELGA Chairman for turning around the fortunes of the area for the better, his humility, respect for all irrespective of status and for always being there for their frontline members and financers, Bro Felix Amaechi Obuah, JP and Hon. Nathaniel Elendu Uwaji, JP promised to continue working with him.
He told the chairman that members of Otu Ozimini Age Grade of Ogba Kingdom and their families, irrespective of their political leanings both at home and in diaspora were shocked, pained and unhappy with the outcome of the 2022 Rivers State PDP Governorship primary election whereby their member and frontline aspirant, Bro Felix Amaechi Obuah, JP, aka Go Round was schemed out of the race but disclosed they have accepted what transpired in good faith and commended Go Round (Eze Orashi) for the maturity he exhibited as a loyal party man and a leader as Gods time is the best.
In their various speeches, the Iyasera 13th and Traditional Prime Minister of Ogbaland, HRH, Eze Lious Chukwudi Ajie, JP, and the Eze Odua of Umu Enyike family, Chief Obi Innocent Igwe , Governors of Otu Ozimini Age Grade of Usomini, Omoku and Obrikom branches respectively commended the ONELGA Chairman for his developmental strides but appealed to the people of Ogba Kingdom anywhere they are to avail themselves the opportunity of the on-going voter’s registration exercise by obtaining their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) as that is the only weapon they can use to fight during elections.
According to a press release issued by the National PRO of the organization, Sir (Hon) Messiah Eluozo, KSM, highlight of the visit was decoration of the ONELGA Chairman, Hon Vincent Job with Traditional Attire in appreciation of his good character and excellent performance since he assumed the position of ONELGA No 1 citizen.
