The Rivers State Police Command has rescued missing little Favour Emmanuel, aged, 5. The case of the missing child was reported to Isiokpo Police Division on May 24, 2022.
The case was later transferred to the CP Monitoring Unit whose efforts yielded result with the rescue of the victim at Omagwa in Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.
CP Eboka, while briefing newsmen in Port Harcourt said investigation revealed that the child was stolen and sold to a couple in Owerri, Imo State for six hundred thousand naira (N600,000.00), by the complainant’s elder sister.
The Police Commissioner further disclosed that one Miss Edith Ejike, aged 30, with her accomplice, Mr Prince Ugun, aged 34, Miss Nkiruka Samuel, aged, 26, were arrested and would be charged to court as soon as investigations were over. The child her also been handed over to the parents.
